Joe Rhodes started his boot selling business unintentionally in the late 1960’s. While working for a feed yard in West Texas, Joe started buying boots at a discount, and guys he worked with decided they might like a pair. Joe, his wife Darla, and his children then sold boots out of their garage for the next ten years. Joe’s Boot Shop has been growing ever since.
Joe and his family decided to move their business to Muleshoe, TX. Joe’s Boot Shop continued to expand, and in late 2001, they moved the business 30 miles down the road to Clovis, NM.
Joe’s Boot Shop offers over 16,000 pairs of boots, 10,000 hats, 12,000 belts and thousands of western apparel and jewelry products. The complex includes a gift shop - the Country Junction, with carries home décor items, furniture, unique western accent pieces, dishware and linens. There’s something here for every room in the house, including Yankee, McCalls and Western candles in a variety of scents and colors.
The feed and tack department handles all your pet and livestock needs. There is always a large selection of handmade saddles, plus tack, and show supplies. For the roper, Joe’s Boot Shop carries hundreds of ropes to choose from, and lots of roping and riding gear.
