Online Purchase Return/Exchange Policy
Effective 8/1/2009
If for any reason you wish to return or exchange an item you have ordered, you may do so, as long as the following conditions are met:
- Product must not show any evidence of wear and the original tags must be attached.
Boots may be returned or exchanged only if the soles are unscratched and the boots are in as-new condition. Be sure to walk only in carpeted areas until you are sure that your boots fit correctly.
Hats maybe returned or exchanged only if they have not been worn, or creased (other than the original Joe’s Boot Shop crease, if creased & shaped on original order). - Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
How to Return/Exchange an Item:
Please follow the below instructions to ensure we have all your proper information to process your return or exchange in a timely manner.

- You will need your original Invoice Number to make any returns. You will find it on your order packing slip, or under your “My Account” section of your Joesbootshop.com account.
- You must request a Returns or Exchanges Authorization Number before returning any merchandise to Joesbootshop.com. Request your Return Authorization Number by calling us at 1-800-658-6378 between 9 am & 6 pm MT, Monday through Friday, or between 9 am & 7 pm MT on Saturdays; or by e-mailing your request to customerservice@joesbootshop.com.
We will need the following information: (Print this form.) - Package the item securely, and include a copy of your order packing slip, your e-mail order confirmation AND a printed copy of your return/exchange form (with RA#) inside the package.
- Be sure to clearly write the Return/Exchange Authorization Number (RA#) on the outside of your package!

Returns or Exchanges lacking an Authorization Number will not be accepted by our returns department and will be returned to the customer.
Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and exchanges may incur additional shipping charges. The shipping carrier you choose to return your package is your choice. Yet, we recommend you send back your package through a carrier such as UPS or FedEx that allows you to track your returning package.
Allow 2-4 weeks for your return or exchange to be processed. It may be sooner. As soon as your return or exchange is processed you will receive an e-mail confirmation.
If you are to receive a credit on your credit card, allow one to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement. If your returned item was purchased with a Gift Card or Certificate, we will issue another Gift Card/Certificate for the amount of the credit due on completion of the return. If there is an additional amount owed, your credit card will be charged for any replacement merchandise when shipped.
NOTE: You may return/exchange Internet purchases to our store at 2600 Mabry Drive, Clovis, NM 88101. You must bring a printed copy of your order to the store, along with your merchandise. You can print a copy of your order by going to your Order History Page.
Holiday Ordering for Gifts: How Long do I have to Return Orders That Were Gifts?
If you ordered your item for a holiday gift between Oct 25 and Dec 24th, these orders will be allowed to return their items until Jan 30th of the following year.

As soon as we receive and process your return or exchange we will email you a confirmation to the email address you provided on your original order. Note, if there is a refund due, this refund will be noted in your email confirmation and typically shows up on your credit card account within 2-5 business days (depending on your credit card) or by your next credit card statement. If you have requested an exchange, you will receive two email confirmations, one confirming that we received your original order and another email noting your new replacement order number.
Can you track my return?
We cannot track your return for you if you did not send it via a track-able service such as UPS or FedEx. If you sent your return back to us with a track-able service, you may contact us and we will happily track your package to see if it has been received by our returns department.
What is a good guideline when I should expect to receive an email confirmation that my return package has been accepted and processed?
It generally takes 2-4 weeks to process a return or exchange package from the time you return the item back to us. This takes in consideration the transit time of the return package back to us, a full warehouse inspection of the returned item(s) and credit processing of your return paperwork. As soon as your return or exchange is processed you will receive an email confirmation.
